RETRO FUTURISTIC VISION OF AN ICON
With this model we have created a new design language that evolves our style with pure geometric shapes that combine fluid volumes with sharper surfaces to create an aesthetic balance
Essential master lines draw their pure geometries, resulting in an intersection of lines that create a central volume with a monolithic and deep appearance, forming an interconnected whole
Although inspired by the original rims of the Maranello Sports Prototypes of the late 1960s, they have modern and original shapes. Their expressive power recalls this iconic classic design reinterpreted with a contemporary perspective
The design of all the elements flows and converges from the pure geometric shape and perfect proportions of the 5-arm star, which reaches the ends of the channel surface to achieve the visual appearance of a larger diameter
The crossing of the vanishing points of the star creates a central pentagonal shape with softened edges, marking the stroke lines of the front design and which at the same time acts as a diamond-cut surface, a characteristic element of all our models. From there, an extruded volume is born with the optimal angle that escapes towards the center of the rim, until it intersects with the flat piece of carbon fiber that covers the screws, creating the marked depth that characterizes this design and giving a marked conceptual and aggressive character to the rim and the car, strongly accentuating its sporty character
THE BLEND OF CLASSIC HERITAGE AND MODERN INNOVATION
The surface of the screws is covered by an ultra-light piece made from the same type of taffeta carbon fiber 1×1 used by Ferrari, creating an attractive contrast of materials and once again creating a blend between craftsmanship and modern innovation. This piece, apart from giving a hi-tech image and accentuating the racing inspiration, opens up a new range of customization possibilities. It can be chosen in different liveries and finishes, with the edges in different colours or the colours of the Italian flag
This carbon fiber piece is held in place by a hexagonal central cap inspired by the racing center-lock caps of Ferrari from the late 1960s, expertly machined from a solid block of aluminium and which is also customisable in colours and finish. In this way, a spectacular contrast is created between the carbon fiber cap, the finish of the forged aluminium wheels, the brake calipers or the body colour of the car, multiplying the customization possibilities and opening up a range of thousands of possible combinations
The combination of all these elements creates an innovative image in contrast to the classic, Racing and refined at the same time, of exclusivity, individuality, luxury and attention to detail

6061 T6 AERO SPACE GRADE FORGED ALUMINIUM
For the manufacture of LLAGOS Forged Wheels we use the best lightest forged aluminium of the highest quality and resistance
The forged aluminum used for the manufacture is of aerospace-grade 6061 with T6 quality tempering treatment, to give more hardness to the surface of the material
The material is forged at more than 500 degrees of temperature with hydraulic presses at a pressure of 12.000 tons
The highest quality forged aluminium and Heat-treated for additional integrity offers a much higher resistance than other materials and manufacturing processes, which makes it possible to manufacture a much lighter and more resistant rim and thus reduce the weight of the unsprung masses to a minimum, substantially improving the dynamic behavior of the car with greater safety and with a much higher resistance to effort and fatigue

Each design and each detail of the rim is studied to reduce the weight of the rotational masses as much as possible and thus improve the dynamic behavior of your car, increase its performance, reduce braking distance and energy consumption
Thanks to our extensive experience in the manufacture of rims for Formula 1, high competion, for the most prestigious One Off and for the best high performance supercars and hypercars, we apply the optimal engineering parameters in each area of the rim to obtain maximum resistance in key points and at the same time achieve maximum lightness by eliminating superfluous material where it’s not necessary
The lightening pockets are milled into the back of the wheels reducing unsprung mass/weight on the wheel hub
FORMULA 1 ENGINEERING
Extensive experience in engineering for Formula 1, high competition, for the most prestigious One Off, supercars and hypercars applyed to your car
The design is developed to be as lightweight as possible but with maximum resistance and FEA-tested to the load rating required for safe operation of the specific vehicle for which the wheel is being built
The structural calculations are carried out with one of the best and most prestigious brands (NASTRAM), which are the most reliable
HIGH PRECISION CNC MACHINED
The machining process of a set of LLAGOS FORGED wheels can take several days from the moment the solid aluminium block begins to be machined until the surface finish is perfect
In the machining process over 70% of the original material is removed
They are machined on high-precision numerical control machines with a machining tolerance of 0.005 milimeters
Our precision limit is 0.025 millimeters in concentricity and 0.025 millimeters in hole position
For all the hole position to be below 0.25 millimeters, the overall concentricity of the holes must be a maximum of 0.14 millimeters
CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY + CRAFTSMANSHIP TO ACHIEVE A PERFECT FINISH
When the machining process is finished and before the painting process begins, the wheels are subjected to the shot blasting process, without which it would not be possible to achieve a perfect final finish.
This process is divided into 6 steps that combine manual goldsmith work with the highest technology:
1. Trimming and chamfering
2. Deburring
3. Sanding
4. Blasting
5. Degrease carried out in many steps including ultrasound cleaning
6. Antioxidant pre-treatment of the material
PAINTING PROCESS ECE R124 STANDARD HOMOLOGATED
Our degreasing, surface antioxidant pre-treatment and painting process is homologated with the parameters of the ECE R124 standard, today the most restrictive and demanding homologation standard in Europe
The painting process is carried out in 4 phases after ultrasonic cleaning:
1. Molten powder primer at 230 degrees celsius
2. High-quality liquid or molten powder paint in the chosen color reference
3. Varnishing with liquid varnish with drying at 160 degrees celsius
4. High quality transparent powder coat for satin finishes later liquid varnish
3D QUALITY CONTROL
Once the entire process is complete, each wheel is rigorously inspected to verify that it meets all of the above quality and precision parameters
The quality control is carried out with a three dimensional measuring machine with an error tolerance of 0.004 milimeters
SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE
Improved performance and dynamic behavior thanks to weight savings in rotational masses and aerodynamics, the use of high quality and innovative ultra-light materials and excellence in engineering to reduce energy consumption and improve safety, reducing braking distance, improving acceleration and cornering speed
Furthermore, our production processes follow the implementation of a Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001 international standard to satisfy customer requirements and an Environmental Management System according to the international standard ISO 14001, systematizing the environmental aspects that are generated in each of the activities carried out promoting environmental protection and pollution prevention from a point of view of balance with socioeconomic aspects
Among other environmental advantages, we optimize the management of resources and waste, reducing the negative environmental impacts derived from our activity or those risks associated with accidental situations
