On March 14th, Sitges once again became the beating heart of Spanish sports car culture. The 2026 edition of the Calçotada 6to6 set a new all-time attendance record: 107 supercars and nearly 200 participants made this one of the most significant automotive gatherings in the country.
More than just a drive, the Calçotada is the oldest and most beloved event in the 6to6 calendar — a day where the joy of driving meets festive atmosphere, good company, and deep-rooted Catalan tradition. Year after year it keeps growing, and 2026 was no exception.
Llagos Design had a prominent presence throughout. A Ferrari 296 GTS fitted with our Cattivo forged wheels turned heads from the very start, joined by the Alfa Romeo 4C Cattivo Prototipo Nr. 01. Surrounding them was a jaw-dropping display of machinery: Ferrari 296 Speciale, Porsche GT3 RS, Lamborghini Revuelto and multiple Huracan, a fleet of McLarens, a commanding AMG group led by the GT Black Series alongside several G63 units, plus BMW M cars, Audi RS models, an Aston Martin DBX, and even a Rolls Royce Cullinan. The car park alone was worth the trip.
The day began at the Eurostars Hotel in Sitges, where participants gathered for breakfast and the event briefing before firing up their engines. The sound of over a hundred performance cars starting simultaneously — in front of hundreds of enthusiastic spectators — signalled the beginning of an endless convoy snaking its way through the Catalan countryside.
The route followed some of the most celebrated stages of the Rally de Catalonia: Sant Joan de Mediona, La Llacuna, Querol, Coll de l’Illa, Vilanova de Prades, Ulldemolins, and Cornudella de Montsant. Clean tarmac, demanding corners, and breathtaking mountain scenery turned every kilometre into pure driving pleasure.
A mid-route stop in Alió gave participants a chance to regroup and enjoy a light aperitif before tackling the second half.
The grand finale took place at Mas La Boella, a beautifully restored 12th-century fortified farmhouse set up to host large-scale celebrations.
In its cellars, gardens and main hall, guests enjoyed a full traditional calçotada: grilled spring onions, romesco sauce, toasted bread, and the kind of long, unhurried lunch that only happens when the day has already been exceptional.
An edition that cements the Calçotada as the warmest event on the 6to6 calendar — and that reinforces Llagos Design’s place as an active, committed part of high-performance automotive culture.
